Elizabeth Kern is a fourth-year public relations student at the University of Oregon who is passionate about strategic communication, storytelling, and brand engagement. Her academic and professional experiences have allowed her to develop skills in media relations, campaign planning, public relations writing, audience research, and digital communication.

Elizabeth has worked on various projects, including tourism marketing, crisis communication, nonprofit outreach, and consumer research. These experiences have sparked her strong interest in how organizations can create strong connections with their audiences through smart and effective communication.

Besides her schoolwork, Elizabeth has also worked in retail and brand promotion through roles with Nordstrom, Madewell, and La Croix. These opportunities helped her improve her communication, relationship-building, and customer engagement skills, while also giving her a better understanding of how brands interact with customers.

Outside of work and school, Elizabeth enjoys traveling, reading, spending time outdoors, and trying new foods. She is particularly interested in pursuing opportunities within travel, lifestyle, fashion, and consumer brand communications.
